Jacob Rounds

I started at JP Morgan, underwriting buyouts for private equity firms. Then I co-founded a wildfire defense startup, building its operating systems across marketing, sales, operations and finance.

While building those systems, I learned that off-the-shelf tools often create as much friction as they remove. Businesses run best on tools built for how they actually work, in the hands of the people who understand that work best.

Rounds Capital Group was founded to build and improve businesses with a measured approach, for clients and in its own ventures. The goal is a business that runs like a machine, so the people in it can focus on the work that needs them.
